Our Guest Speakers at our  meeting on June 22 were Craig and Jan Rogasch (pictured with Past President Shirley Wright)– their subject – RYDA (Rotary Youth Driver Awareness). The program started in July 2000 when the RC of Hills in NSW was appalled at the loss of four young lives in an horrendous car accident,where excessive speed was the cause. They believed a community based driver awareness program targeting young people was needed.

The program now operates  in the  majority of Rotary Districts in Australia ,and it is proposed that our Club,with the support of neighbouring Rotary Clubs and local secondary schools, will launch it our area  in the not too distant future.
