The Rotary Club of Largs Bay Bowelscan project May 2016

May is Rotary health month and is when Rotary Clubs through out Australia encourage the people of our great country to tend to there health by doing a simple test for the prevention of Bowel Cancer.

The Rotary Club of Largs Bay has helped many in the community do just that , our club has a number of community projects with the prevention of Bowel Cancer high on the list.

The kits are  available for sale at The  Bunning’s ware house Port Road Woodville ,  Saturday the 7th of May ,Saturday the 14th of May,Sunday 15th of May and Saturday 21st May.
Kits are sold for $15.00 including postage and pathology.

End Polio Now

end-polio-nowSince the mid 80s Rotary and its partners have been working hard to make history by eradicating the crippling disease Polio from our planet. While Australia is currently Polio free, it remains only one plane trip away from us. 2010 saw cases of Polio worldwide reduced to 1,352, a 99% reduction since starting!  Read more…
